UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN (UI) BEGINS UPLOADING OF ADMISSION LIST ON JAMB CAPS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform all prospective candidates who applied for admission into the University of Ibadan (UI) for the 2026/2027 academic session that the institution has commenced the uploading of admission offers on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

Candidates are therefore advised to regularly monitor their admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal, as admission is being uploaded in batches.

Applicants who have been offered admission are expected to accept or reject the admission offer through JAMB CAPS as soon as possible. Candidates who accept their admission can then proceed to print their JAMB Admission Letter and await further registration guidelines from the University of Ibadan.

How to Check Your Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

• Visit the JAMB e-Facility Portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
• Log in with your registered email address and password.
• Click on "Check Admission Status."
• Select your examination year and enter your JAMB Registration Number.
• Click "Access My CAPS."
• On the CAPS dashboard, click "Admission Status" to view your admission.
• If admitted, click "Accept" or "Reject" the admission offer.

Candidates whose status still shows "Not Admitted" or "Admission in Progress" are advised to remain patient and continue checking the portal regularly, as the admission process is ongoing.
