UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, ONDO STATE SETS OCTOBER 7 DEADLINE FOR 2026/2027 ADMISSION SCREENING
The University of Medical Sciences, Ondo State (UNIMED) has announced the deadline for the completion of registration and screening for candidates offered provisional admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to the University Management, all candidates who have been offered provisional admission are required to complete the necessary registration, document upload and online screening processes before the stipulated deadline.
The deadline for the completion of the exercise is 12:00 midnight on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
The University has warned that its admission portal will be closed to further screening activities immediately after the deadline.
UNIMED 2026/2027 REGISTRATION AND SCREENING DEADLINE
All admitted UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates are expected to complete the required admission procedures on or before:
Deadline: Wednesday, October 7, 2026
Time: 12:00 midnight
Candidates are expected to ensure that all required documents have been uploaded and that the online screening process has been fully completed before the portal closes.
UNIMED WARNS ADMITTED CANDIDATES
The University Management has urged all concerned candidates to treat the deadline as urgent and ensure that they do not wait until the final hours before completing their screening.
Candidates who fail to complete the required registration and screening within the stipulated period risk losing the provisional admission offered to them.
The University stated that any candidate who does not complete the process before the deadline shall forfeit the provisional admission.
PAYMENTS MAY ALSO BE FORFEITED
UNIMED also warned that candidates whose admission is forfeited due to failure to complete the registration and screening process may also lose any payment already made to the University in respect of the admission.
The University further stated that admission spaces that become vacant as a result of such forfeitures may subsequently be offered to candidates on the waiting list.
This makes it important for all candidates who have received provisional admission to complete their screening and registration before the portal closes.
FACULTY OFFICERS DIRECTED TO COMPLETE SCREENING
The University Management has also directed Faculty Officers to take note of the circular and ensure that the screening of all affected candidates in their respective faculties is completed on or before the stated deadline.
The directive is intended to ensure that the admission process is concluded within the approved timeline.
WHAT UNIMED ADMITTED CANDIDATES SHOULD DO
Candidates offered provisional admission for the 2026/2027 academic session are advised to:
- Log into the official University admission portal.
- Upload all required documents.
- Complete the online screening process.
- Ensure that all required registration procedures have been completed.
- Confirm that their screening status has been successfully processed before the deadline.
Candidates should avoid waiting until the last minute, as technical or network-related challenges could make it difficult to complete the process close to the portal closing time.
