UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT (UNIPORT) ANNOUNCES POST-UTME ADMISSION CUT-OFF MARK FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) wishes to inform all prospective students and the general public that an important decision has been reached regarding the admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session.
At the 424th Emergency Meeting of the Committee of Provost and Deans, held on Thursday, 28th August 2025, the body carefully reviewed the outcome of the recently concluded Post-UTME screening exercise. The analysis of results, general performance trends, and relevant admission data were considered in order to determine a fair and credible benchmark for admission into the university.

Approved Cut-Off Mark
After extensive deliberation, the Committee unanimously agreed that the minimum acceptable cut-off mark for the 2025/2026 admission exercise will be:
👉 120 and above in the Post-UTME screening exercise.
This means that all candidates who scored 120 or higher during the Post-UTME are now eligible for admission consideration, provided they also meet other departmental requirements such as O’level subject combinations, quota allocation, and merit ranking.

The approved cut-off mark was designed to achieve the following:
