UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT (UNIPORT) WITHDRAWS CIRCULAR ON SUSPENSION OF NON-ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
The attention of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) Management has been drawn to the memorandum dated 20 July 2026, titled "Suspension of All Non-Academic-Related Student Activities," which has been circulating on various platforms.
Accordingly, the memorandum is hereby withdrawn with immediate effect and should be disregarded.
Management further clarifies that all approved academic and non-academic activities within the Faculties, Departments, Centres, Institutes, and other units of the University shall continue as scheduled.
The University regrets any inconvenience the earlier communication may have caused to students, staff, and other stakeholders. Thank you!
