UNIVERSITY OF UYO TEACHING HOSPITAL (UUTH): 2026/2027 ADMISSION INTO THE COLLEGE OF COMMUNITY HEALTH

The Management of the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH) is pleased to announce that application forms for admission into the College of Community Health for the 2026/2027 academic session are now available for purchase.

This invitation is extended to qualified health practitioners and degree holders seeking advanced training in community health services.

I. ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Prospective applicants must satisfy the following criteria to be eligible for admission:

• Basic Qualifications: Must possess a Diploma in Community Health or a Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW) Certificate.
• O'Level Credits: A minimum of five (5) credit-level passes in SSCE, WASCE, NECO, or GCE O/L, obtained in not more than two sittings.
• Core Subjects: Mandatory credits include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Professional Standing: Applicants must be officially registered with the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria and hold a currently valid practicing license.

Special Provisions for Degree Holders
Candidates holding a first degree in Health Education, Community Health, or Public Health are eligible for a specialized one-year accelerated program.
