The Vice Chancellor of the University of Uyo, Professor Christopher N. Ekong, cordially invites the general public, members of the academia, and students to the institution's upcoming 137th Inaugural Lecture.

The academic event will feature an in-depth presentation addressing one of the nation's most pressing systemic challenges.

Lecture Profile and Topic

The lecture will focus heavily on governance and systemic ethics under the designated theme:

Topic: "Institutional Corruption in Nigeria: Diagnosis, Lessons and the Way Forward"

The Lecturer

The 137th Inaugural Lecture will be delivered by Professor Ebere J. Okorie (Ph.D, FACASEN; FNOUN; JP). Professor Okorie is a distinguished Professor of Criminology within the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Uyo.
