UNIVERSITY OF UYO (UNIUYO) ISSUES NOTICE ON CLOSURE OF SECOND SEMESTER REGISTRATION PORTAL FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has announced the closure of its online portal for second semester registration for returning undergraduate students in the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions.
According to an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Registrar on July 27, 2026, the university portal will officially close at midnight on Monday, August 3, 2026.
The university advised all returning undergraduate students to complete their second semester registration before the deadline, stressing that late registration will not be entertained after the portal is closed.
The memorandum further warned that students who fail to complete their registration by the stipulated date will be required to formally suspend their studies. Those who do not do so, the university stated, will be regarded as having voluntarily withdrawn from the institution.
UNIUYO urged members of the university community to take note of the directive and ensure full compliance with the registration schedule.
The notice was signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Blossom E. Okorie, on behalf of the university management.
