ABDULLAHI FODIO UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, ALIERO (AFUSTA) – 18TH MATRICULATION CEREMONY
The Senate, Management, and Staff of Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero (AFUSTA), Nigeria, cordially invite the university community, parents, guardians, and the general public to the 18th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
This statutory event marks the formal induction and oath-taking of all newly admitted undergraduate students into the academic fold of the university.
CEREMONY DETAILS AND LOGISTICS
The university has finalized the following schedule for the proceedings:
- Date: Wednesday, 8th April, 2026
- Time: 10:00 AM Prompt
- Venue: Multi-purpose Hall, AFUSTA Campus
MANDATORY PROTOCOLS FOR MATRICULATING STUDENTS
To ensure a successful and orderly ceremony, all fresh undergraduate students are required to adhere to the following directives:
- Academic Gowns: Students should proceed to their respective Faculty Offices to collect their matriculation gowns upon presentation of their school fee payment receipts.
- Procession: All matriculants are expected to be seated at the venue by 9:30 AM. The academic procession involving the Vice-Chancellor and members of the Senate will commence exactly at 10:00 AM.
- Oath of Allegiance: Participation in the formal oath-taking is mandatory. Only students who participate in this ceremony and sign the Matriculation Register will be recognized as bona fide students of the university.
- Code of Conduct: Students and guests are reminded to maintain the highest level of decorum and strictly follow the university's dress code during the event.
ADMINISTRATIVE NOTICE TO GUESTS
Parents and guests are advised to arrive early to secure seating within the Multi-purpose Hall. Designated parking areas will be managed by the University Security Unit to ensure a hitch-free flow of traffic within the campus.
