ABIA STATE UNIVERSITY PROMOTES 17 PROFESSORS AND 24 READERS

Abia State University (ABSU) has announced the promotion of 41 senior academic staff members following the approval of the Governing Council at its 160th Regular Meeting.

The promotions, which include 17 Professors and 24 Readers, were approved after the Council considered reports from External Assessors and recommendations from the Appointments and Promotions Committee (Academic).

According to the university management, the promotions reflect ABSU's continued commitment to academic excellence, staff development, and rewarding outstanding contributions to teaching, research, and community service.

17 Academics Promoted to Professor

The newly promoted Professors are:
