The School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS) at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has officially published its academic calendar for the upcoming second semester.
Academic Calendar Breakdown:
- Resumption/Registration for All Students: 22nd – 26th June, 2026 (5 Days)
- Lectures: 23rd June – 11th September, 2026 (12 Weeks)
- 2nd Semester Examinations: 14th September – 12th October, 2026 (4 Weeks)
- Marking: 5th October – 2nd November, 2026 (4 Weeks)
- Departmental and Faculty PG Committee Meeting: 3rd – 6th November, 2026 (4 Days)
- PG Board Meeting: 9th – 10th November, 2026 (2 Days)
- Senate Business Committee Meetings: 11th – 12th November, 2026 (2 Days)
- Senate Examinations Meeting: 16th November, 2026 (1 Day)
- Vacation for all students: 13th October – 29th December, 2026 (11 Weeks)
- Annual Leave for Academic Staff: 17th November – 29th December, 2026 (6 Weeks)
- Commencement of 2026/2027 Session: 30th December, 2026
