Candidates who participated in the AAUA 2026/2027 admission screening exercise are advised to begin checking their admission status regularly on the JAMB CAPS portal, as successful candidates may start receiving admission offers in batches.

HOW TO CHECK AAUA ADMISSION STATUS ON JAMB CAPS

Follow the steps below to check your admission status:

  1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility Portal.
    1. Log in using the email address and password linked to your JAMB profile.
    2. Click on "Check Admission Status."
    3. Select the appropriate examination year.
    4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
    5. Click on "Check Admission Status."

Alternatively, candidates can access the CAPS section from their JAMB profile and select "Admission Status" to monitor their admission progress.

WHAT YOUR JAMB CAPS STATUS MEANS

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION

If your status reads "Congratulations! You Have Been Offered Admission," it means you have been successfully admitted.

Candidates should:

  • Accept the admission offer on JAMB CAPS.
  • Monitor the AAUA admission portal for updates on acceptance fees, clearance, registration, and other admission procedures.
  • Print their JAMB Admission Letter after accepting the offer.

ADMISSION IN PROGRESS

If your status shows "Admission in Progress," it means your admission is still being processed or has not yet been fully updated on the JAMB system.

Candidates are encouraged to remain patient and continue checking their CAPS profile regularly.

NOT ADMITTED

Candidates whose status currently reads "Not Admitted" should not lose hope, as admission lists are usually uploaded in batches.
