ADEKUNLE AJASIN UNIVERSITY, AKUNGBA-AKOKO RELEASES POST-UTME/DE SCREENING DETAILS FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Ondo State, has officially announced the commencement of registration for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) admission screening exercise.
According to the university, the online screening registration begins on Tuesday, 26th May, 2026, for all suitably qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into the institution.
The university invited candidates who scored 160 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and are willing to study at AAUA to proceed with the registration process immediately.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the AAUA screening exercise, candidates must satisfy the following conditions:
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before 30th September, 2026.
- Candidates must possess the required O’Level credits relevant to their chosen course of study.
- Direct Entry candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:
* First Degree (Minimum of Second Class Lower Division)
* ND (Upper Credit)
* HND (Lower Credit)
* JUPEB (Minimum of 6 Points)
* NCE (Minimum of 8 Points)
The institution also stated that candidates who did not initially choose AAUA as their first choice institution can still apply after carrying out a Change of Institution to AAUA on the JAMB CAPS portal before the closure of registration.
ACCEPTED O’LEVEL RESULTS
AAUA accepts:
- WAEC
- NECO
- NABTEB
Candidates are allowed to combine results from a maximum of two sittings.
Awaiting Result candidates are also eligible to apply but are strongly advised to upload their results immediately they are released on both:
- The AAUA admission portal
- JAMB CAPS
Failure to upload results may affect admission processing.
SCREENING REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Eligible candidates are required to follow the steps below carefully:
- Visit the official screening portal at:
https://putme.aaua.edu.ng - Create an account using:
* Valid JAMB Registration Number
* Functional E-mail Address
- Confirm your e-mail address through the verification link sent to your inbox or spam folder.
- Log in and make payment of:
* ₦2,000 for Post-UTME Registration
* ₦3,000 for Portal Access Fee
Total: ₦5,000 only via E-tranzact.
- Complete the online Bio-data form carefully with valid details.
- Upload all required O’Level results and credentials.
- Print out the completed Bio-data Slip and evidence of registration for future reference.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
The university advised all applicants to:
- Carefully check the UTME subject combinations for their chosen course before submission.
- Ensure that English Language and Mathematics are included among their O’Level credits for all programmes.
- Make corrections on JAMB CAPS where necessary if their UTME subject combination does not match their intended course.
- Avoid mistakes during registration, as falsification or misrepresentation of information may lead to disqualification.
AAUA further emphasized that participation in the online screening exercise is compulsory for all candidates seeking admission into the university.
SPECIAL NOTICE
The university warned prospective applicants to beware of fraudsters, stressing clearly that:
- AAUA DOES NOT OPERATE THROUGH ANY ADMISSION AGENT.
- All application processes should be completed personally through the official university portal.
Candidates are also encouraged to use valid and active phone numbers and email addresses, as the institution will communicate important admission updates through those channels.
