AKWA IBOM STATE POLYTECHNIC RELEASES 2026/2027 ND AND HND ADMISSION FORMS; CUT-OFF MARK, ELIGIBILITY, COURSES AND APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, has officially commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for admission into the institution's various accredited programmes across its schools.
National Diploma (ND) Admission Requirements
To be eligible for ND admission, applicants must:
- Score 100 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalent.
- Pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.

HND Admission Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Five (5) O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
- A minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant National Diploma obtained from an NBTE-accredited institution.
- At least one (1) year Industrial Training (IT) after ND.
- Candidates with a Pass grade in ND must possess two (2) years post-ND industrial work experience.
HND Application Fee
The HND application fee is ₦10,000 only.
