KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY (KASU) RELEASES ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

Kaduna State University (KASU) has officially commenced the sale of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic session. The University invites suitably qualified candidates who selected KASU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to apply for the online screening exercise.

The online screening exercise is scheduled to run from Monday, 29th June 2026 to Monday, 13th July 2026.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the KASU 2026/2027 Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening exercise, candidates must:

• Choose Kaduna State University (KASU) as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
• Meet the approved JAMB cut-off mark for their chosen programme.
• Candidates awaiting O'Level results are also eligible to apply.
• Direct Entry (DE) applicants must possess the required A-Level qualifications.

Application Fee

The screening application fee is ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira only), excluding bank charges.

How to Apply for KASU Post-UTME/DE Screening

Eligible candidates should follow the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the Application Portal

Go to the KASU admission portal https://applicant.safapply.com/kasu and select either Post-UTME or Direct Entry (DE) application.

Step 2: Check Eligibility

• Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
• Click Check Eligibility.
• If eligible, click More Information.
• Select Apply Now.
• Create a new account or log in if you already have one.

Step 3: Make Payment

• Review your details.
• Pay the non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 using any of the available payment options on the portal.

Step 4: Complete Your Biodata

Fill in all required information accurately, including:

• Personal details
• O'Level results (maximum of two sittings)
• A-Level qualifications (for Direct Entry candidates)
• Upload clear copies of all required documents, including:
  • NIN Slip or National Identity Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Certificate of Origin/Indigene Certificate
  • 2026 JAMB Registration Slip
  • JAMB Result Slip
  • Passport Photograph (JPEG format, white background, not more than 1MB)
  • Signature

Applicants may also indicate alternative programmes in order of preference where applicable.

Step 5: Submit Your Application

• Carefully review all information provided.
• Accept the declaration.
• Submit the application.
• Print your Application Acknowledgement Slip for future reference.

Important Information

Candidates should note the following:

• O'Level results must be uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal before admission can be processed.
• Use a valid phone number and email address throughout the application process.
• Ensure all uploaded documents are clear and authentic.
• Any false information or incorrect document upload may lead to automatic disqualification.

KASU 2026/2027 Cut-Off Marks

The approved departmental cut-off marks for all undergraduate programmes are available in the official PDF released by Kaduna State University. Candidates are advised to check the official portal to confirm the cut-off mark for their preferred course before completing their application.
