AKWA IBOM STATE UNIVERSITY (AKSU) RELEASES POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The screening is open to qualified 2026 UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into undergraduate programmes at the university.

For UTME candidates, applicants must have chosen AKSU as their first-choice institution and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME.

Registration Period

According to the university's notice, online registration will commence on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, and close on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline, as those who fail to register within the specified period will not be considered for admission.

Registration Fee

The screening registration fee is ₦2,000, excluding applicable bank charges. Payment can be made by debit card or bank transfer.

Candidates are required to upload relevant documents, including their 2026 UTME result slip, birth certificate, certificate of origin and AKSU Post-UTME/DE registration confirmation slip. Direct Entry candidates are also required to provide their DE registration slip and relevant HND, ND, NCE or A-Level certificates.

How to Apply

Interested candidates are required to visit the AKSU application portal: https://aksu.edu.ng/app/, click “START NOW”, select “Enrol”, choose “PUTME”, enter their JAMB registration number and proceed with payment and document upload.

Candidates with awaiting O’level results may apply, but must ensure their WAEC/NECO results are properly uploaded to the JAMB portal (CAPS).

The university also warned candidates against dealing with individuals or agents claiming to sell admission slots, stating that it has no individual or sales agents for admission.
