AL-MA'ARIF COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES ANNOUNCES ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR 2026 ADMISSION INTO HEALTH SCIENCES PROGRAMMES

The management of Al-Ma'arif College of Health Sciences, Potiskum, has announced the schedule for the entrance examination into its various Health Sciences programmes.

All prospective applicants seeking admission into any of the College's health programmes are hereby informed that the entrance examination has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, 1st August, 2026.

Entrance Examination Details

The examination will hold as follows:

  • Date: Saturday, 1st August, 2026
  • Time: 8:00 a.m. prompt
  • Venue: College Premises, KM 5 Dumbulwa, Potiskum

Candidates are advised to arrive at the venue early to complete accreditation and other screening formalities before the commencement of the examination.

Programmes Available

The entrance examination is for admission into the following programmes:

  • Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)
  • CHEW Retrainee Programme
  • Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW)
  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
  • Pharmacy Technician
  • Health Information Management (HIM)
  • National Diploma (ND) in Orthopedic Cast Technology
  • National Diploma (ND) in Medical Laboratory Technician
  • Health Information Management (Abridgement)
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) in Orthopedic Cast Technology

Items Required at the Examination Venue

All applicants are required to report to the examination venue with the following:

  • Original Examination Slip or Invitation Letter
  • Writing materials
  • Evidence of payment of the ₦5,000 Entrance Examination Fee

Candidates who fail to present the required documents may not be allowed to participate in the examination.

Important Notice

The College strongly advises applicants to arrive at the examination venue well before the scheduled time to enable them complete all necessary screening procedures.

Management warned that latecomers may not be permitted to sit for the entrance examination.

Prospective candidates are therefore encouraged to make adequate travel arrangements and ensure punctuality on the examination day.
