This is to inform all students and all concerned that the management of Auchi Polytechnic has released the approved first semester academic calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session (morning programme) as follows:
10th August, 2026: NDI Students begin four (4) months Industrial Training (IT)
17th August, 2026: Departmental Board Meetings for the consideration of the 2025/2026 Second Semester Examination Results
24th August, 2026: School Board Meetings for Consideration of the 2025/2026 Second Semester Examination Results
31st August - 2nd September, 2026: Academic Board Meetings for the Consideration of the 2025/2026 Second Semester Examination Results
13th September, 2026: New Students Resume
14th September, 2026: Registration Begins for New Students
20th September, 2026: Old Students Resume
21st September, 2026: Lectures Begin for all Students
30th September, 2026: Lectures Begin for NDII Students from Industrial Training
1st October, 2026: National Day
7th December, 2026: Mid Semester/Test
16th - 17th December, 2026: Orientation for New Students

18th December, 2026: Mid Semester/Christmas break
3rd January, 2027: Students Resume for Continuation of the First Semester, 2026/2027 Academic Session
4th January, 2027: Lectures Continue for all Students
6th January, 2027: Registration Ends for all Students
7th January, 2027: Matriculation for Fresh Students
10th January, 2027: School of Art and Industrial Design Begins First Semester Examinations for the 2026/2027 Academic Session
18th January, 2027: All Other Schools Begin First Semester Examinations for the 2026/2027 Academic Session
12th February, 2027: Examinations End for all Students
13th February, 2027: Students Vacate Hostels
1st March, 2027: Students Resume for the Second Semester
5th March, 2027: Departmental Board Meetings to Consider First Semester Examination Results for the 2026/2027 Academic Session
12th March, 2027: School Board Meetings to Consider First Semester Examination Results for the 2026/2027 Academic Session
15th - 16th March, 2027: Academic Board Meetings to Consider First Semester Examination Results for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
