BAYERO UNIVERSITY KANO ANNOUNCES 2025/2026 SECOND SEMESTER ADD/DROP COURSE EXERCISE

Bayero University Kano has announced the commencement of the Add/Drop Course Exercise for the Second (2nd) Semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The exercise is open to all interested undergraduate students who wish to add or drop one or more courses for the second semester.

Students who intend to participate are advised to follow the procedure below.

PROCEDURE FOR ADD/DROP OF COURSES

1. Confirm your registration:
   Ensure that you have duly registered with Bayero University Kano for the 2025/2026 academic session.
2. Meet your Level Coordinator:
   Students should meet with their respective Level Coordinator for proper guidance before proceeding with the exercise.
3. Make payment:
   Payment should be made through Remita from Monday, 5th October 2026 by selecting the UG Add and Drop service.
4. Access the portal:
   The portal will be open from Monday, 5th October to Sunday, 18th October 2026 and will be accessible only to affected candidates.
5. Reprint your CRF:
   After completing the process, students are required to reprint their Course Registration Form (CRF).
6. Submit your CRF:
   Submit the reprinted CRF to your Level Coordinator for documentation.

DEADLINE FOR ADD/DROP

The Add/Drop Course Exercise will last for two weeks.

Closing Date: Sunday, 18th October 2026

Students are strongly advised to complete the process before the deadline, as late applications may not be entertained.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Students are advised to keep a photocopy of their payment receipt for safe keeping and future reference.
