All members of the university community are expected to resume their duties and studies with immediate effect.
I. DIRECTIVES FOR LECTURERS AND STUDENTS
To maintain the integrity of the academic calendar and ensure a smooth semester, the following directives must be adhered to:
- Immediate Resumption: All Academic Staff are directed to commence effective teaching and specialized academic sessions immediately.
- Continuous Assessment (CA): Lecturers are expected to administer CA exercises in a timely manner, as these form a critical component of the final Second Semester results.
- Student Attendance: Students are urged to attend lectures promptly to avoid missing essential coursework and assessment windows.
II. KEY ACADEMIC DATES
Please take note of the following critical milestones for the remainder of the session:
- Semester Commencement: Monday, 13th April, 2026
- Second Semester Examinations: Scheduled to begin on Monday, 20th July, 2026
- Session Closure: The 2025/2026 Academic Session will officially conclude on Monday, 10th August, 2026
III. ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLIANCE
The Management has mandated all Deans of Faculties, Directors of Academic Centres, and Heads of Departments to monitor and ensure full compliance with this directive. Departmental offices are expected to be fully operational to support students and faculty members.
