DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY [DELSU] RELEASES CHANGE OF COURSE FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ADMISSION EXERCISE
Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU), has released the change of course option for candidates who scored below the cut-off marks of their initially selected programmes and are yet to secure admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The university announced vacancies in several programmes across different faculties and directed eligible candidates to change to programmes with cut-off marks lower than their aggregate scores.

According to the university, candidates who were not admitted in the first batch and whose scores are below the cut-off marks of their initial choices can take advantage of the available vacancies by changing their course or programme.
Candidates are required to first complete the change of course on the JAMB portal before updating the change on the university's admission portal.

The approved cut-off marks for the available programmes include:
Faculty of Agriculture
Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Agriculture, Animal Science, Crop Science, Fisheries, Forestry & Wildlife, and Soil Science (Agronomy) all have a cut-off mark of 40.

HOW TO APPLY FOR DELSU CHANGE OF COURSE
Interested candidates are required to follow these steps:
1. Change course on JAMB
Candidates should first visit the JAMB portal and change their course/programme to one whose cut-off mark is lower than their aggregate score.
2. Update the change on DELSU portal
After completing the change on JAMB, candidates should visit the Delta State University portal to effect the same change.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS
Candidates are expected to upload evidence of their JAMB change of course/programme on the university portal.
The selected programme must have a cut-off mark lower than the candidate's aggregate score. The university specifically stated that candidates will not be considered where their aggregate score does not meet the cut-off mark of the new programme.
For instance, Public Health has a cut-off mark of 50, meaning candidates with an aggregate score of 50 and above who have not been admitted can change to Public Health.
Candidates must also ensure that their UTME and UME subjects meet the admission requirements for their newly selected programmes and that their O'Level results have been uploaded to the JAMB portal.
DEADLINE FOR DELSU CHANGE OF COURSE
The change of course exercise is scheduled to commence on Friday, September 18, 2026, and close on Friday, September 25, 2026.
Candidates who are yet to gain admission and are eligible for any of the listed programmes are advised to complete the change of course process before the stated closing date.
