The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a new service that will allow candidates to change their registered GSM number and/or email address where they have lost access to the contact details previously linked to their JAMB profile.
The new option is designed to assist candidates who can no longer access the SIM card or email account registered with their JAMB profile.
JAMB SIM AND EMAIL CHANGE SERVICE
According to the notice, candidates who have lost access to their registered GSM number or email address can use the newly introduced service to update their contact details.
The service is scheduled to commence on Monday, 21st September 2026.
Candidates who need to update their registered contact information are advised to follow the official JAMB procedure once the service becomes available.
SERVICE CAN ONLY BE ACCESSED ONCE
JAMB has also stated that the GSM number and/or email change service can be accessed only once.
Candidates are therefore advised to carefully verify the new GSM number and/or email address they intend to register before proceeding with the change.
Applicants should ensure that the new contact details are active and accessible, as they may be required for future communication and access to JAMB-related services.

Candidates who intend to use the service are advised to:
- Ensure they have genuinely lost access to their previously registered GSM number or email address.
