Federal Polytechnic Idah Bans Use of Masquerades for Cultural Celebrations on Campus
The Management of Federal Polytechnic, Idah, has announced a ban on the use of masquerades for cultural celebrations within and around the institution's campus.
According to the Polytechnic, the decision was made following observations of students engaging in masquerade-related activities during cultural events. Management described the practice as unacceptable and emphasized that it is prohibited within the Polytechnic community.
Students and student groups have therefore been directed to refrain from organizing, participating in, or supporting any masquerade display or procession on campus.
The institution warned that any student found violating the directive will be considered to have breached institutional regulations and will face appropriate disciplinary action.
The Management urged all students to comply fully with the directive in order to maintain peace, order, and a conducive learning environment within the Polytechnic.
