Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Extends 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Registration Deadline
The management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Port Harcourt, has announced an extension of the registration deadline for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise.
According to the university, the registration exercise, which began on May 18, 2026, was initially scheduled to close on June 14, 2026. However, the deadline has now been extended to Tuesday, June 30, 2026, giving prospective candidates additional time to complete their applications.
Eligibility Requirements
- UTME candidates must score 150 and above in the 2026 UTME.
- Candidates who did not initially choose IAUE as their first-choice institution can still apply after completing a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal.
- Registration fee remains ₦2,000 only.
Screening Exercise
The screening exercise is scheduled to commence on Monday, June 29, 2026 and will include:
- O'Level/A'Level certificate verification
- Data screening
- UTME/A'Level score ranking
- Compulsory biometric validation
Candidates are advised to regularly check their email addresses and phone numbers for screening invitations, schedules, and other important updates.
Important Notice
Applicants awaiting O'Level results must upload their results to both the JAMB portal and the IAUE portal before the screening exercise.
The university also warned candidates against relying on misleading information circulating on social media and encouraged them to obtain updates only from official IAUE communication channels.
Prospective students who have not yet registered are strongly advised to take advantage of the extension and complete their applications before the new deadline of June 30, 2026.
