FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC KAURA NAMODA ANNOUNCES ND/HND ADMISSION FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State, has commenced the sale of admission forms for the 2026/2027 Academic Session, inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes.

The Polytechnic urged interested applicants to take advantage of the opportunity to secure admission into its various accredited programmes across its schools.

Admission Requirements

National Diploma (ND)

Candidates seeking admission into the ND programmes must:

• Possess a minimum of five (5) O'Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics where applicable.
• Score at least 100 in the 2026 UTME.
• Choose Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda as their first-choice institution in JAMB.

Higher National Diploma (HND)

Applicants for HND programmes must:

• Possess a recognized National Diploma (ND) in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution.
• Have completed a minimum of one year Industrial Training (IT) after obtaining the National Diploma.

How to Apply

Interested candidates should:

1. Visit the Polytechnic admission portal at http://portal.fedponam.edu.ng/.
   1. Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) payment invoice.
   2. Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦5,000 (excluding bank charges).
   3. Complete and submit the online application form.

Alternatively, applicants may obtain hard copies of the admission form from the Academic Affairs Unit, Shehu Shagari Administrative Block, Main Campus, Kaura Namoda.

Important Notice

The Polytechnic emphasized that all National Diploma admissions will be processed strictly through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

Candidates are advised to ensure they meet all admission requirements and complete the application process within the stipulated period.
