FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE, BASSAMBIRI (FUAB) RELEASES 2026/2027 POST-UTME ADMISSION SCREENING DETAILS
The Federal University of Agriculture, Bassambiri (FUAB), located in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, has announced the commencement of its admission process for the 2026/2027 academic session.
In a statement signed by the Registrar, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Reginald Inodu Keremah, invited qualified candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to apply for admission into the university's various undergraduate programmes.
According to the university, candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply for admission into FUAB's degree programmes across its four faculties.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the admission screening exercise, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Score a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME.
- Select Federal University of Agriculture, Bassambiri (FUAB) as their first-choice institution.
- Possess at least five (5) O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Complete a Change of Institution to FUAB through the JAMB portal if the university was not initially selected as first choice.
- Meet all departmental admission requirements.

How to Apply
Interested candidates should follow these steps:
- Visit the FUAB admission portal.
- Ensure FUAB has been selected as first choice on JAMB CAPS.
- Complete the online biodata form.
- Upload required documents, including:
- JAMB Result Slip
- O'Level Result(s)
- Birth Certificate
- Certificate of Origin
- Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee via Paystack.
- Print the application acknowledgment slip and await further screening instructions.
Important Notice
Candidates who did not initially choose FUAB during UTME registration must first process a Change of Institution through JAMB before proceeding with the university's screening application.
