FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES, KACHIA (FUASK) COMMENCES ADMISSION FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION, RELEASES SECOND POST-UTME SCREENING SCHEDULE
The Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia (FUASK) has announced the commencement of admission into its various undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for admission into the university's available degree programmes, including candidates interested in its newly approved courses.
The university has also announced that its Second Post-UTME Screening Exercise will hold from Monday, August 17 to Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
CANDIDATES TO EFFECT CHANGE OF INSTITUTION TO FUASK
Candidates who did not initially choose the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia as their first-choice institution but wish to study at the university are required to effect a Change of Institution through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Interested candidates are also expected to:
- Change their institution to FUASK through the JAMB platform.
- Change to their preferred course where necessary.
- Upload their O'Level results to JAMB CAPS.
- Print evidence of their Change of Institution.
FUASK ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR UTME CANDIDATES
To be eligible for admission, candidates must:
- Have participated in the 2026 UTME.
- Obtain a minimum score of 170.
- Possess at least five relevant O'Level credit passes.
- Have credits in English Language and Mathematics.
- Obtain the required credits in not more than two sittings.
DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Direct Entry candidates are also eligible to apply, provided they have completed the JAMB Direct Entry registration.
Candidates must possess:
- Five relevant O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- An acceptable A-Level qualification such as IJMB, National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit, or Cambridge A-Levels.

The university's Second Post-UTME Screening Exercise is scheduled to hold as follows:

HOW TO REGISTER FOR FUASK POST-UTME
Applicants should complete their registration by visiting the FUASK application portal:
Candidates are required to:
- Create an account by clicking “New Applicant.”
- Pay the ₦2,000 application fee.
- Payment can be made using an ATM card or through a generated Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
- Complete all sections of the online application form.
- Submit the completed application.
- Print the completed application form.
- Present the required documents and printed application form at the Admissions Office on the day of the screening.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE SCREENING
Candidates are required to come along with the originals and photocopies of:
- O'Level result(s).
- 2026 UTME Result Slip.
- UTME Registration Slip or Change of Institution Slip.
- Two passport photographs.
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
- Certificate of Indigene.
- Application payment receipt.
