The Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) has commenced the release of admission offers for candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates who applied for admission into LASUED are advised to begin checking their JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) regularly, as successful candidates may start seeing their admission status reflect on the portal.
ADMISSION OFFERS MAY COME IN BATCHES
Candidates should understand that admission offers are not usually uploaded for all successful applicants at once.
While some candidates may already see “Admitted” on their JAMB CAPS, others may still see statuses such as “Not Admitted,” “Admission Still in Progress,” or “Not Available.”
Candidates whose admission has not yet reflected should not panic, as the admission process may continue with additional names uploaded in batches.
HOW TO CHECK LASUED ADMISSION STATUS
To check your admission status, follow the steps below:
1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility Portal:
2. Log in using your registered email address and password.
3. Click on “Check Admission Status.”
4. Select “Access My CAPS.”
5. Click on “Admission Status” to see whether you have been offered admission.
IF YOU HAVE BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION
Candidates who have been offered admission should proceed to:
- Click “ACCEPT” on JAMB CAPS.
- Print their JAMB Admission Letter after accepting the offer.
- Keep checking LASUED's official channels for clearance and registration instructions.
- Ensure all required admission documents are available for the next stage of registration.
CANDIDATES STILL AWAITING ADMISSION
Candidates who are yet to receive an admission offer are advised to remain patient and continue checking their JAMB CAPS.
They should also ensure that their O'Level results have been correctly uploaded to the JAMB portal and that they meet the admission requirements for their chosen programme.
