The management of Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State, has officially announced the institution’s 14th Inaugural Lecture, scheduled to hold on Friday, 29th May, 2026.
The highly anticipated academic event will feature Prof. Duke Okoro, Professor of Environmental Analytical Chemistry, who will deliver the lecture titled:
“DECODING POLLUTION IN A PETROLEUM NATION: THE ROLE OF ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY IN SAFEGUARDING NIGERIA’S ENVIRONMENT.”
The lecture is expected to provide deep insights into environmental pollution challenges associated with petroleum exploration and the critical role of environmental analytical chemistry in protecting ecosystems and public health in Nigeria.
