FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY IKOT ABASI RELEASES 2026/2027 SCHOOL FEES SCHEDULE
The Management of the Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA), through the Office of the Bursar, has released the approved schedule of fees and charges for new and returning students for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The approved schedule contains the various fees and charges payable by students across the university's academic programmes.
FEES FOR FRESH AND RETURNING STUDENTS
According to the approved schedule, the applicable charges cover both fresh and returning students across engineering and non-engineering programmes.
The university has also provided a separate fee structure for students who require hostel accommodation.
Students are advised to carefully review the official fee schedule to identify the charges applicable to their respective programmes and student categories.
100% PAYMENT REQUIRED AT REGISTRATION
The Management has also announced an important change to the payment policy for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Students are now required to make 100% payment of their applicable fees at the point of registration.
The previous 70%–30% instalment payment arrangement has been abolished.
This means students will no longer be permitted to pay 70% of their fees initially and complete the remaining 30% at a later date under the previous arrangement.
HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION FEES
The approved schedule also includes charges for hostel accommodation.
Students interested in securing university hostel accommodation are advised to check the official fee schedule for the applicable hostel charges and follow the instructions provided by the university.
