The management of Gombe State College of Health Sciences and Technology has announced the commencement of admissions into its Postgraduate Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), and Certificate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

1. Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health Education and Promotion (PGDEPHEP)

Requirement: Applicants must possess an MSc, BSc, or HND in any health-related discipline.

2. Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes

• Higher National Diploma Environmental Health Technology (HND-EHT)
• Higher National Diploma Health Information Management (HND-HIM)
• Higher National Diploma Nutrition and Dietetics (HND-NUD)

Requirements

Candidates must possess:

• National Diploma (ND) in the relevant field
• JAMB Admission Letter or Evidence of Regularization
• Completed SIWES Certificate

3. Returning Course Community Health Extension Worker (R-CHEW)

Requirements

• JCHEW Certificate
• Five O’Level credits including:
  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
• Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

4. Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)

Requirements

Applicants must possess five O’Level credits in:

• English Language
• Mathematics
• Biology
• Physics
• Chemistry

Obtained in not more than two sittings.

5. Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW)

Requirements

• Candidates must possess three O’Level credits including:
  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Biology
• Plus passes/credits in:
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
• Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
