The Office of the Director of Socials, Students’ Union Government (SUG), IAUE, warmly invites all newly admitted students to the Freshers’ Orientation 0.1. This program is designed to officially welcome new students into the university community and provide them with essential guidance that will help ease their transition into academic and campus life.

The Freshers’ Orientation 0.1 promises to be a dynamic and engaging event where students will have the opportunity to interact with their peers, senior students, and members of the university administration. Through a combination of orientation sessions, interactive activities, and recreational programs, the event aims to introduce students to the academic expectations, social norms, and ethical responsibilities of university life. This will allow freshers to understand the culture and values of the institution, while also building a sense of belonging and camaraderie among the new cohort.

Orientation Sessions

During the orientation sessions, students will receive detailed briefings from various offices of the university, including the Academic Affairs Office, the Students’ Union, and other key administrative units. These sessions are designed to provide crucial information on registration procedures, course selection, examination requirements, and the support services available on campus. Additionally, students will be briefed on the university rules, codes of conduct, and policies that govern student life, ensuring that they are fully prepared to navigate the academic and social environment responsibly.

Interactive Activities

Beyond the formal orientation sessions, the event will feature an array of engaging activities aimed at fostering interaction among students. Activities such as music performances, dance competitions, games, and comedy skits will create an exciting environment for students to relax, socialize, and build lasting friendships. These recreational segments are carefully designed to complement the formal sessions, allowing students to bond over shared experiences and enjoy a sense of community early in their university journey.

Giveaways and Prizes

To further enhance student participation and excitement, the orientation will include several giveaways and prize distributions. These incentives are intended to encourage active involvement in the program and reward students for their engagement. The giveaways may range from university-branded materials and stationery to vouchers or other useful items that support students in their academic and daily activities on campus.

Support and Guidance

One of the key objectives of the orientation is to provide students with access to support networks within the university. Representatives from various student organizations, peer mentoring programs, and academic support offices will be present to offer guidance and answer questions. This direct interaction ensures that new students feel supported and are aware of the resources available to help them succeed academically and socially throughout their time at the university.
