KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY (KASU): 2025/2026 PART-TIME DEGREE ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Management of Kaduna State University (KASU), through the Centre for Continuing Education, hereby informs the general public that the online application portal for Part-Time Degree Programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session is now open.

This window provides an opportunity for working professionals and individuals seeking flexible learning paths to obtain a university degree.

I. APPLICATION TIMELINE & FEES

Candidates must complete their applications within the specified period:

• Application Period: 20th April – 3rd May, 2026.
• Processing Fee (Nigerians): ₦10,000.
• Processing Fee (Non-Nigerians): $20.

II. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants are expected to satisfy the following academic criteria based on their entry level:

1. General O'Level Requirements (For 100 Level)

• Must possess at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, at O'Level.
• These must be obtained in a maximum of two (2) sittings.

2. Direct Entry (DE) Requirements (For 200 Level)

• In addition to the five O'Level credits, candidates must possess a recognized Diploma or NCE in a relevant field.
• Candidates must meet the minimum 'A' Level point requirements for their specific programme.

3. Top-Up Programme Requirements (For 400 Level)

• Designed for holders of HND or B.Sc. (Third Class) seeking to upgrade their degree.
• Must possess the mandatory five O'Level credits.
• Candidates must provide evidence of their NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.

Note: Candidates who graduated five (5) years ago or earlier must present their original Certificates rather than Statements of Results.

III. METHOD OF APPLICATION

Interested applicants should follow the steps below to register:

1. Visit the official KASU Application Portal: http://applicant.safapply.com/kasucce.
2. Review the list of available programmes to ensure eligibility.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to generate a payment invoice and complete the application form.
4. Upload all necessary credentials as specified in the portal.
