KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY (KASU) RELEASES REVISED ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2025/2026 SECOND SEMESTER

The Kaduna State University (KASU), through its Directorate of Academic Planning, has released the revised academic calendar for the continuation of the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The revised calendar outlines the remaining academic activities for the session, including continuation of lectures, Continuous Assessments, Students’ Union elections and inauguration, examinations, processing of results and the consideration and release of results by the Senate.

According to the revised schedule, academic activities for the second semester will continue from September 2026, with the session expected to officially end in January 2027.

REVISED 2025/2026 SECOND SEMESTER ACADEMIC CALENDAR

Lectures Continue/Continuous Assessment (CA):
September 21 – November 6, 2026

Lectures Continue/Students’ Union Elections and Inauguration:
November 9 – 13, 2026

Examinations and Marking:
November 16 – December 5, 2026

Processing of Results:
December 7 – 18, 2026

Consideration and Release of Results by Senate:
December 21 – 23, 2026

Intra & Inter-University Transfers:
December 24, 2026 – January 17, 2027

End of Session Break:
December 18, 2026 – January 17, 2027

New Academic Session Begins:
January 18, 2027

STUDENTS ADVISED TO TAKE NOTE

Students of Kaduna State University are advised to take note of the revised dates and make the necessary preparations for the remaining academic activities of the 2025/2026 academic session.

Students are particularly encouraged to plan accordingly for the continuation of lectures and Continuous Assessments, Students’ Union activities, examinations and other academic requirements within the stipulated periods.

The new academic session is scheduled to commence on Monday, January 18, 2027.
