LADOKE AKINTOLA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (LAUTECH) RELEASES HARMATTAN SEMESTER ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has released the approved Academic Calendar for the 2026/2027 Harmattan Semester.
The calendar was approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. R. O. Rom Kalilu, on behalf of the University Senate, following its presentation by the Committee of Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Provosts and Deans.
The notice, signed by the Registrar, Olayinka O. Balogun (Mrs.), and dated September 16, 2026, contains the schedule for the completion of the 2025/2026 academic session and the commencement of activities for the new academic session.
2025/2026 SESSION ENDS
The university's 2025/2026 Rain Semester activities are scheduled to conclude in July 2026.

The 2025/2026 Rain Semester and academic session end, while the end-of-session break begins for all students.

OCTOBER 2026: REGISTRATION AND RESUMPTION
Academic activities for the new session will continue in October with certificate verification, documentation, registration and the resumption of returning students.

OTHER DATES IN THE APPROVED CALENDAR
The approved academic calendar also contains scheduled activities for November 22, November 23, November 28 and November 29, 2026, as well as November 30, 2026.
Further activities are scheduled for December 23, 2026, and throughout January and February 2027, with the specific activities contained in the university's approved calendar.
NOTICE TO LAUTECH STUDENTS
All students and members of staff of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology are advised to take note of the approved academic calendar and plan accordingly.
Fresh students are expected to complete their certificate verification, documentation and registration within the stipulated deadlines, while returning students are also advised to complete their registration within the specified period to avoid penalties.
The calendar provides the schedule for the transition from the 2025/2026 academic session to the 2026/2027 Harmattan Semester and the commencement of lectures for both fresh and returning students.
