LAUTECH RELEASES 2026/2027 POST-UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION SCREENING FORM
The management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) admission screening exercise for qualified candidates.
According to the university, the online registration portal will be open from Monday, June 15, 2026, to Sunday, July 12, 2026. The screening exercise is open to candidates who selected LAUTECH as their first-choice institution and those willing to change to the university through JAMB.
Eligibility Requirements
UTME candidates must have scored at least 170 in the 2026 UTME and possess a minimum of five relevant O'Level credits obtained in not more than two sittings.
Candidates applying for Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science must have five relevant O'Level credits in one sitting only.
Applicants must also be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026 and upload their O'Level results on JAMB CAPS before August 2, 2026.
Direct Entry candidates must possess relevant qualifications such as a University Degree, ND, HND, NCE, RNS, or JUPEB, alongside the required O'Level credits.
Method of Application
Candidates are required to register online through the university admission portal.
Applicants will pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₦2,000 and a portal access fee of ₦5,000 using an InterSwitch-enabled debit card.
Candidates are also required to upload a recent passport photograph with a white background in JPEG format not exceeding 20KB.
Important Information
Candidates awaiting WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results may apply but must upload their results to JAMB CAPS before the stipulated deadline.
The university disclosed that admission consideration will be based on:

The university also stated that oral and written interviews for Direct Entry candidates will be conducted on a date to be announced later. Failure to attend the interview will result in forfeiture of admission.

LAUTECH has warned candidates against dealing with unauthorized individuals claiming to influence admission. The university emphasized that admission is strictly based on merit and that candidates found submitting false information may have their admission withdrawn.
