MBAGEN COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY, ABWA – 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of Mbagen College of Health Technology, Abwa, located in the Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State, is pleased to announce the commencement of the sale of admission forms for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. As an accredited institution established by the Mbagen Development Association (MDA), our mission remains centered on the motto: "Training Breeds a Healthier Society."

Prospective students are invited to apply for professional training in our specialized healthcare programmes, designed to meet the growing demand for skilled medical personnel in Nigeria.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES AND ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must satisfy the specific academic requirements for their chosen field of study as outlined below:

1. National Diploma in Community Health (CHEW) – 3 Years

• Qualifications: Five (5) O-Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (WAEC, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE) obtained in no more than two sittings.
• Professional Entry: Junior Community Health Workers (JCHEW) with a valid practice license from the CHPRBN and two years of post-qualification experience are also eligible.

2. Certificate in Community Health (JCHEW) – 2 Years

• Qualifications: At least three (3) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and Biology, plus passes in two other science subjects in WASCE/GCE, NABTEB, or NECO at no more than two sittings.

3. Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – 3 Years

• Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) O-Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics at no more than two sittings.

4. National Diploma in Health Information Management (ND-HIM) – 2 Years

• Qualifications: Five (5) credit passes at SSCE level in English Language, Mathematics, Biology (or Health Science), Chemistry, and Physics, obtained in no more than two sittings.

APPLICATION METHOD AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES

The application process is straightforward and conducted through the college’s administrative offices:

• Form Cost: N12,500.00 (Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only).
• Where to Obtain: Admission forms are available at the Registry Department on campus.
• Operating Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
