NIGERIA POLICE ACADEMY ANNOUNCES 13TH REGULAR COURSE SCREENING DATES AND REQUIREMENTS

The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano State, has announced the schedule for the 13th Regular Course screening exercise for applicants who have been shortlisted for the admission process.

The Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy, AIG Auwal Musa Muhammad, ANIPR, MSPSP, PSC, stated that candidates are invited to participate in a comprehensive screening exercise at the Academy commencing in September 2026.

The screening exercise will include the Computer-Based Test (CBT), physical features assessment, medical screening and Selection Board Interview.

PRINTING OF EXAMINATION SLIP

Candidates are expected to print their examination slips between:

Tuesday, August 25 and Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Applicants are advised to print their slips within the stipulated period and ensure that all information on the slip is correct.

SCREENING EXERCISE DATES

The CBT examination, physical features assessment, medical screening and Selection Board Interview are scheduled to take place from Wednesday, September 9 to Friday, September 18, 2026.

The CBT examination will be conducted according to the following state-based batches:

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

Candidates are required to come to the screening venue with the original copies and photocopies of the following documents:

  1. Primary School Leaving Certificate.
    1. SSCE result — WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.
    2. JAMB Result Slip.
    3. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
    4. Local Government Area (LGA) Indigene Certificate.
    5. Letter of Identification.
    6. Properly completed and signed Guarantor's Form.
    7. Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a Government Hospital.
    8. NIN Slip.
    9. Four passport photographs.
    10. Application Acknowledgement Slip printed from the POLAC Admission Portal.

Candidates are advised to arrange their documents properly before travelling to the Academy to avoid delays during the screening exercise.

MODE OF DRESSING

Candidates attending the screening exercise are expected to dress in the following:

  • White T-shirt
  • White shorts
  • White socks
  • White canvas shoes

Candidates are advised to comply strictly with the prescribed dress code.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES

The Nigeria Police Academy has provided the following important instructions for all candidates:

1. Arrive a day early: Candidates are expected to arrive at the Academy one day before their scheduled examination date.

2. Accommodation: All candidates will be accommodated within the Academy throughout the period of the screening exercise.

3. Check the official portal: Candidates should regularly refer to the POLAC Admission Portal for additional information and updates.

4. Parents not allowed: Parents and guardians will not be allowed into the Academy during the screening exercise.

5. Beware of scammers: Candidates are strongly warned to be cautious of fake social media accounts and individuals impersonating the Nigeria Police Academy.

Applicants should rely only on information provided through the Academy's official communication channels and admission portal.

SCREENING TO COMMENCE SEPTEMBER 9

The Nigeria Police Academy's 13th Regular Course screening exercise will commence on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with candidates participating according to their assigned batches.

All shortlisted applicants are advised to prepare adequately, print their examination slips within the stipulated period and arrive at the Academy with all required documents.
