NIGERIAN COLLEGE OF AVIATION TECHNOLOGY (NCAT), ZARIA ANNOUNCES POST-UTME SCREENING FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into the institution's National Diploma (ND) programmes.
According to a notice issued by the Office of the Registrar, the online screening exercise is open to candidates who selected NCAT as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Screening Registration Period
The online Post-UTME screening portal will be open from:
- Opening Date: Monday, 7th September, 2026
- Closing Date: Sunday, 27th September, 2026
The institution emphasized that the screening exercise will be conducted online and is completely free of charge.
Available National Diploma (ND) Programmes
Candidates can apply for admission into the following programmes:
- National Diploma (ND) in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Technology
- National Diploma (ND) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must:
- Have selected Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) as their first-choice institution.
- Score a minimum of 120 in the 2026 UTME.
- Possess at least five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and one other Science subject obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates should complete the following steps:
- Upload their O'Level results on the JAMB CAPS portal if they have not already done so.
- Visit the NCAT Post-UTME registration portal and complete the online screening registration form within the stipulated registration period.
Candidates who did not initially choose NCAT as their first-choice institution but wish to study at the College are advised to:
- Apply for a Change of Institution through JAMB and select NCAT as their first choice.
- Upload their O'Level results on the JAMB CAPS portal before completing the Post-UTME registration.
