Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has officially commenced its online registration process for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise.
Candidates who scored 160 and above in the UTME, as well as Direct Entry applicants with relevant higher qualifications, are invited to apply.
The registration window opens on Wednesday, 27th May, 2026, and closes on Sunday, 21st June, 2026. Eligible candidates are required to complete their registration through the official portal, upload necessary results on JAMB CAPS, and pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₦2,000.
Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has scheduled its 2026/2027 POST UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for candidates.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who chose Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka or its affiliate institutions as their first choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have the required 160 Pass mark are eligible to apply.
Candidates who did not choose NAU as their first choice university but scored the eligible Pass mark of 160 can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB CBT Centers for a change of institution.
Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree or A' level in relevant disciplines and subjects.
Direct Entry candidates must also ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and hard copies of their JAMB E-slip, O'level result/s, OND/HND/First Degree or A'level result/s to the office of Deputy Registrar (Admissions) on or before Sunday 21st June, 2026.
Any DE candidate whose transcript is not received before the stipulated period will not be considered for admission.
PLEASE NOTE:
A. Registration starts on Wednesday 27th May, 2026 and ends on Sunday 21st June, 2026.
B. Change of course or Change of institution into Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (and its affiliate institutions) ends Sunday 14th June, 2026. Any change done after this date will not be valid.
C. Compulsory upload of O'level result/s (and A' level result/s for DE candidates) on JAMB CAPS.
D. Monitor your personal phone number, email and UNIZIK website for more details of the Post UTME/ DE screening exercise.
E. Candidates who did not register online will not be involved in the screening exercise.

To commence, follow the steps below:
Step 1. Visit apply.unizik.edu.ng
Step 2. If you do not have an account, click, Create One link under Sign in button and follow the prompts to get one. Note: Use an email (personal) and phone number you can easily access.
Step 3. Log in with your JAMB Registration number and the password you created in step 2.
Step 4. Once you have logged in, follow the Application Progress steps to complete your PostUTME application.
Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of: ₦2,000
CAUTION:
a. Admissions are not for sale. Report any demand for unauthorized payments or bribes for criminal prosecution.
b. The University shall also not be liable for any fraudulent payments made anywhere that is not in line with the directives of the University.
c. The University will not be liable for any payment made with wrong JAMB registration number.
