POSTPONEMENT OF FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS – BOUESTI

The Management of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI), wishes to inform all students, academic staff, and the university community that the 2025/2026 First Semester Examinations have been officially rescheduled.

I. REVISED EXAMINATION TIMELINE

To allow for better administrative preparation and to ensure a seamless examination process, the commencement date has been shifted by one week:

Original Commencement Date: Monday, April 20, 2026
New Commencement Date: Monday, April 27, 2026

II. DIRECTIVE TO STUDENTS

Following this administrative adjustment, all students are expected to adhere to the following:

Intensified Preparation: Use this one-week window to further review your course materials and academic notes.
Registration Completion: Ensure that all departmental and faculty registrations, as well as fee payments, are finalized before the new start date.
Timetable Updates: Regularly visit your respective departmental notice boards or the university portal to check for any updated versions of the examination timetable.

III. ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUSTMENTS

All relevant University Units, including the Directorate of Academic Planning and Internal Security, are hereby directed to:

Sync Rosters: Update invigilation schedules and security deployments to match the new timeline.
Facility Readiness: Ensure all lecture theatres and examination halls are fully prepared and conducive for the exercise by the new date.

IV. STATEMENT OF REGRET

The University Management deeply regrets any inconvenience this one-week postponement may cause students and their sponsors. This decision was taken in the best interest of maintaining the high academic standards of the institution.
