RESCHEDULING OF AWARDS AND PRIZES PRESENTATION

The Office of the Registrar wishes to announce a strategic adjustment to the 18th Convocation Ceremony schedule. To ensure each award recipient receives due recognition and to alleviate the crowded itinerary of the main Convocation Day, the presentation of awards and prizes has been moved forward.

I. REVISED EVENT LOGISTICS

*The presentation will now be integrated into the Alumni Day celebrations. Affected students and guests are requested to take note of the new details below:*

  • * Primary Event: Alumni Day
  • * New Date: Thursday, 30th April, 2026
  • * Time: 2:00 P.M. Prompt
  • * Venue: 750 Hall A, Site III

II. MANDATORY ATTENDANCE CATEGORIES

*Participation is compulsory for graduating students who have achieved excellence in the following academic categories:*

  • First Class Honours: All students graduating with a First Class division.
  • Departmental Excellence: The Best Graduating Student from every Department.
  • Faculty Excellence: The Best Graduating Student from every Faculty.
  • University Honours: The Overall Three (3) Best Graduating Students of the University.

III. INSTRUCTIONS FOR AWARDEES

To maintain the decorum of the ceremony, awardees are expected to comply with the following:

  • * Punctuality: Award recipients must be present and seated at the venue by 1:30 P.M. for brief orientation and processional ordering.
  • * Dress Code: All awardees must be dressed in full academic regalia or formal corporate attire as prescribed by university regulations.
  • * Verification: Ensure you have your student identification or graduation clearance available for seating verification.

This adjustment is designed to provide a more intimate and focused platform to celebrate the university’s top academic achievers. We look forward to honoring your hard work and dedication during this special Alumni Day session.
