The Management of Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH), Esa-Oke, hereby notifies all students of the upcoming official accreditation visitation by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
To ensure a seamless exercise and to meet the rigorous requirements of the accreditors, specific adjustments have been made to the academic calendar for the first week of May.
I. NBTE ACCREDITATION SCHEDULE
The accreditation team is visiting to evaluate the standards of various National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes across the College.
- Arrival of Accreditors: Sunday, 3rd May 2026.
- Accreditation Period: Monday, 4th May – Tuesday, 5th May 2026.
II. RESCHEDULING OF FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS
In light of this critical exercise, the ongoing first-semester examinations originally scheduled for the following dates will NOT hold as planned:
- Affected Dates: Monday, 4th May and Tuesday, 5th May 2026.
- Action Taken: These papers have been suspended and will be rescheduled.
- New Dates: Revised dates for the affected papers will be communicated officially through the Deans of your respective Faculties.
III. DIRECTIVE ON CAMPUS ACCESS
To facilitate a conducive and organized environment for the accreditation team:
- Mandatory Absence: All students are requested to stay away from the campus on Monday, 4th May, and Tuesday, 5th May 2026.
- Resumption: Normal examination activities and campus access are expected to resume after the exercise, pending further instructions from your Faculty.
