UITH COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES, ILORIN: 2026/2027 ADMISSION INTO OND/HND NURSING

The Management of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) is officially inviting applications for its 4-Year Non-Terminal OND/HND Nursing Programme for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

This integrated programme is designed to provide seamless progression from National Diploma to Higher National Diploma, equipping students with advanced clinical skills and professional certification.

I. ADMISSION CRITERIA

Prospective candidates must satisfy the following technical and academic requirements:

• JAMB Score: A minimum score of 180 in the 2026 UTME.
• Subject Combination: Must have written English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• First Choice Requirement: Candidates who did not initially choose UITH must effect a Change of Institution to "College of Nursing Sciences, UITH, Ilorin" at an accredited JAMB centre.
• O'Level Results: Minimum of five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (max. 2 sittings).
  * Note: NABTEB is accepted but cannot be combined with other certificates.
• Age: Minimum of 16 years at the time of application.
• Physical & Legal: Must have no criminal record and no deformity of the hands.

II. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR UPLOAD & SCREENING

Candidates must scan and upload the following on the portal, and bring physical copies to the screening:

1. JAMB Result Slip & Change of Institution Slip.
2. Original O'Level Certificate.
3. Birth Certificate (National Population Commission).
4. Printout of the Completed Application Form.
5. Passport Photograph & Remita Receipt.
6. Sponsor Details: Scanned signature of a sponsor.
7. Referees: Three (3) typed and scanned referee letters on official letterheads.

III. METHOD OF APPLICATION & PAYMENT

The total application cost is ₦10,000 (Form: ₦0; Post-UTME: ₦2,000; Screening/Interview: ₦7,000; Admin: ₦1,000).

Payment Steps (Remita)

1. Go to remita.net.
2. Select Pay FGN and State TSA -> Federal Government of Nigeria.
3. Pay to: University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.
4. Purpose: UITH GENERAL PURPOSE.
5. Generate RRR and pay via card or bank. Note: Cash payments to individuals are strictly prohibited.

Online Registration

1. Visit www.uithilorin.org.ng.
2. Click APPLY NOW and enter a valid email to receive a confirmation link.
3. Use the link to access the SON FORM and enter your RRR number.
4. Complete all fields, upload required documents, and submit.
5. Confirmation: Ensure you download/print the filled form. If no printout is generated, the submission was unsuccessful.

IV. ENTRANCE EXAMINATION & ENQUIRIES

• Venue: ICT Centre, Schools’ Complex, UITH.
