YABATECH EXTENDS REGISTRATION/SCREENING FOR NEW STUDENTS (2025/2026)

The Management of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has magnanimously approved a final extension for the registration and screening exercise for all newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

This extension, effective from Monday, April 27, 2026, is a final window for candidates to formalize their admission and secure their matriculation numbers.

I. EXTENSION TERMS & PENALTY

Candidates who failed to register within the original timeframe must now comply with the late registration policy:

• Extension Period: One (1) week, commencing Monday, 27th April 2026.
• Late Registration Penalty: A mandatory fee of ₦20,000.00.
• Payment Method: Payable via the college portal using the generated Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).

II. ENFORCEMENT MEASURES

The College is implementing strict measures to ensure only registered students are permitted on campus:

• Classroom Access: Heads of Departments (HODs) and lecturers have been directed to excuse any student without a valid Matriculation Number from lecture rooms.
• Publication of Names: The Centre for Information Technology and Management (CITM) will publish a list of all unregistered students.
• Academic Status: Failure to complete this process within the one-week grace period will result in the forfeiture of admission for the session.

III. ACTION STEPS FOR NEW STUDENTS

1. Generate RRR: Log in to the portal to generate the invoice for the ₦20,000 late fee.
   1. Complete Payment: Pay online or at any commercial bank.
   2. Finalize Screening: Upload any outstanding documents and print your completed registration forms.
   3. Obtain Matric Number: Ensure your status is updated on the CITM database to avoid being sent out of classes.

CONCLUSION: URGENT COMPLIANCE REQUIRED

This directive is to be treated with the utmost urgency. The College Management encourages all concerned students to take full advantage of this week to avoid the heavy academic consequences of non-registration.
