The Office of the Dean of Student Affairs at University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has issued an urgent notice concerning the payment of matriculation fees for newly admitted 100-level students.

According to the notice, the university management observed that some students earlier paid ₦5,000 instead of the officially approved ₦7,000 matriculation fee* through the Nugitech Portal. As a result of this discrepancy, the affected students are required to pay the outstanding balance of ₦2,000 to complete their payment.

The additional payment is to be made to CCMFB CRUTECH Microfinance Bank using the account name Matric Convocation Fee with Account Number: 1100054088.

Students who fall into this category have been strongly advised to make the payment promptly in order to regularize their matriculation fee records. They are also instructed to keep their evidence of payment, as it may be required for verification during the matriculation process or other official checks.

The university emphasized that students should treat the notice with urgency and ensure that the outstanding balance is paid as soon as possible to avoid any complications related to their matriculation requirements.

The notice was signed by Victor Ndifon, Acting Dean of Student Affairs at University of Cross River State.
