UNICROSS Opens Second Semester Registration Portal for 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 Academic Sessions
The Management of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has officially announced the opening of the second semester registration portal for students in the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions. The directive was issued through the Directorate of Examination and Results to ensure a smooth and coordinated registration exercise for all affected students across various faculties and departments.
According to the university, all students are expected to carefully follow the approved registration protocols and level assignments released by the institution to avoid errors that may affect their academic records.
Under the newly released guidelines, students have been grouped into categories based on their academic structure and admission sets.
For Group One, students under the CCMAS structure from the 23, 24, and 25 sets are to register under the 2025/2026 academic session through the Regular mode.
For Group Two, students under the BMAS structure from the 22 set are expected to register for the 2025/2026 academic session using the Alternate mode.
Meanwhile, Group Three consists of BMAS students from the 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21 sets, who are to register under the 2024/2025 academic session through the Regular mode. The university clarified that the 17 and 18 sets apply specifically to students offering five-year programmes.
The institution also outlined level classifications for affected students. Students in four-year programmes from the 19 set are categorized as 600 Level, while those from the 20 set fall under 500 Level. For five-year programmes, the 17 set belongs to 800 Level, the 18 set to 700 Level, and the 19 set to 600 Level.
UNICROSS emphasized that all students must complete their registration on or before Friday, 5th June 2026, as late registration may attract penalties or academic complications.

The management further warned students to ensure they register according to the correct category, academic session, and mode assigned to them. This, according to the university, is necessary to prevent issues relating to examination records, course registration, and graduation processing.
In addition, students currently undergoing SIWES, Teaching Practice, and Practicum have also been directed to complete registration for their respective courses within the stipulated period.
As part of measures to protect students from fraud and registration errors, the university strongly advised students to avoid roadside cybercafés and instead seek assistance from the University ICT Centre for any technical support or clarification.
The Management reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a seamless academic process and urged all students to comply strictly with the registration guidelines and deadlines.
