The Management of the University of Education and Entrepreneurship, Akamkpa, has issued an important directive to all academic staff and students ahead of the scheduled examinations, emphasizing the need for strict compliance with examination access and security protocols to ensure a smooth and orderly conduct of the exercise.

According to a statement signed by the Registrar of the University, Dr. Gabriel O. Egbe, all academic staff whose examinations are slated for the approved dates are expected to report promptly to their various examination venues. Staff members are to assist in identifying students and provide the necessary support required for the successful conduct of the examinations.

The University Management explained that the measures are part of efforts to strengthen security, maintain orderliness on campus, and guarantee a hitch-free examination process throughout the examination period.

As part of the directives released, all staff members, except those residing within the university staff quarters, are required to access the campus strictly through the main gate. Staff are also expected to visibly display their official identity cards to enable security personnel carry out proper verification and grant easy access into the campus.

In addition, Management stated that only staff members will be permitted to drive vehicles into the campus during the examination period. This measure, according to the statement, is aimed at improving security coordination and controlling movement within the university environment.

Students who may need to enter the campus during the examination period have also been instructed to properly identify themselves at the gate and clearly state valid reasons for their presence before they can be granted access.

The Registrar further directed all Heads of Departments to ensure that the information is adequately communicated to both staff and students under their supervision for full compliance.

Management appreciated members of the university community for their anticipated cooperation, noting that adherence to the guidelines would greatly contribute to a peaceful, organized, and seamless examination exercise across the institution.
