UNIJOS 2026 LONG VACATION DEGREE PROGRAMMES
The Office of the Registrar, University of Jos, in collaboration with the FUEP Study Centre, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various undergraduate degree programmes for the 2026 Long Vacation Session.
I. AVAILABLE DEGREE PROGRAMMES (4 – 5 LONG VACATIONS)
Candidates can apply for the following programmes across various educational disciplines:
- Education & Arts: B.A (Ed) English, History and International Studies, Religion (CRS), French.
- Education & Sciences: B.Sc (Ed) Economics, Geography, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Integrated Science.
- Professional Education: B.(Ed) Educational Management, Adult and Continuing Education, Guidance and Counseling, Social Studies, Home Economics, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Physical and Health Education.
- * Information Science: BLIS Library Science.
II. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Eligibility is categorized based on existing qualifications:
- 1. NCE or Diploma Holders (Direct Entry - Contact II): Candidates must possess a good NCE or Diploma in a relevant area (Distinction, Upper Credit, or Lower Credit). Additionally, five (5) credits in SSCE (including Mathematics and English) are required.
- 2. SSCE Holders (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB - Contact I): Candidates with at least five (5) credits, including Mathematics and English, are eligible to start from Contact One.
III. METHOD OF APPLICATION
To ensure a valid application, candidates must strictly follow this six-step process:
- JAMB Registration: Register for the JAMB PART-TIME Programme at any JAMB Office or recognized CBT centre.
- Institution Selection: Ensure you select UNIVERSITY OF JOS (Do NOT select Federal University of Education Pankshin).
- Form Purchase: Proceed to the FUEP VENTURES office with evidence of JAMB Registration to obtain the form at the cost of ₦8,000.
- Payment: Collect a teller from the VENTURES office and obtain an official bank payment receipt.
- Completion: Fill out the application form accurately with all required details.
- Submission: Attach photocopies of all credentials, including your JAMB printout and VENTURES receipt. Submit the package at the point of collection.
IV. CRITICAL ADMINISTRATIVE NOTES
Applicants must take note of the following strict regulations:
- Deadline: All completed forms must be submitted on or before Friday, 19th June 2026.
- Documentation: Applications missing any photocopies of credentials or the JAMB printout will NOT be processed.
- Course Stability: Change of course will not be entertained once admission has been granted.
