UNILAG Distance Learning Institute Releases Final Admission List for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Distance Learning Institute (DLI), University of Lagos (UNILAG), has officially announced the release of the final batch admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The institution disclosed that admission lists covering Batch 1 to Batch 5 are now available for candidates who applied for admission into the institute’s various programmes.

Admitted candidates are advised to check their admission status through the official portal provided by the institute.

Screening Exercise Details

The institute also announced that the screening exercise for successful candidates will commence on:

• Date: Monday, 18th May, 2026 (Mondays to Fridays)
• Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Venue: 2nd Floor, DLI Administrative Building

All admitted candidates are expected to appear for the screening exercise with all required documents for verification and clearance.

Required Documents for Screening

Candidates are required to present the original copies of the following documents:

• Application Form
• Primary and Secondary School Testimonials
• O’Level Certificate(s)
• Higher Degree Certificates such as HND, OND, NCE, ICAN, etc. (for Direct Entry applicants)
• NYSC Certificate, Exemption, or Exclusion Letter (Direct Entry applicants only)
• Birth Certificate or Sworn Affidavit issued before the admission advertisement
• Marriage Documents (for married female candidates only)

Important Notice to Candidates

The management strongly warned applicants to be cautious of fraudsters and individuals posing as admission agents.

According to the institute, the University of Lagos does not authorize any third party or agent to process admissions on behalf of candidates.

Applicants are therefore advised to deal directly with the university through its official channels only.
