UNIVERSITY OF CROSS RIVER STATE RELEASES 2026/2027 ADMISSION LIST

The University of Cross River State has released its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The admission list contains the names of candidates who have been offered provisional admission following their participation in the university’s 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise.

Candidates who applied for admission into the University of Cross River State are advised to proceed to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to check their admission status.

HOW TO CHECK UNIVERSITY OF CROSS RIVER STATE ADMISSION STATUS ON JAMB CAPS

Candidates can check their admission status by following the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the JAMB Portal

Visit the official JAMB e-Facility portal:

https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/

Log in using the email address and password registered with JAMB to access your dashboard.

Step 2: Check Admission Status

After logging in:

1. Click on “Check Admission Status.”
   1. Click on “Access my CAPS.”
   2. Select “Admission Status.”
   3. Check to see whether you have been offered admission.

If you have been offered admission, your admission status will be displayed along with your photograph and a congratulatory message confirming the admission offer.

Candidates who have not yet been offered admission may see the message:

“Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”

Candidates who receive this message should not necessarily panic, as admission processing may still be ongoing.

HOW TO ACCEPT OR REJECT UNIVERSITY OF CROSS RIVER STATE ADMISSION

Candidates who have been offered admission are required to either accept or reject the admission offer.

According to the admission information, candidates can accept or reject their offer by sending:

ACCEPT or REJECT

as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.

Candidates are given four weeks to accept their admission offer.

Candidates who no longer have access to the phone number registered with JAMB are advised to visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete the acceptance or rejection process.

PRINT YOUR JAMB ADMISSION LETTER

Candidates who have successfully accepted their admission are advised to print their JAMB admission letter.

The admission letter is an important document that may be required during the university’s clearance and registration exercise.

Candidates should therefore keep both their JAMB admission letter and other admission-related documents safe.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CANDIDATES CHECKING CAPS WITH A PHONE

Candidates checking their admission status using a mobile phone may experience difficulty accessing the complete JAMB CAPS interface.

In some cases, mobile users may only see the CAPS welcome page without the option to check their admission status.

If this happens, candidates are advised to use Google Chrome and activate the Desktop Site option.

How to Enable Desktop Site on Chrome

If you are using a phone:

1. Open Google Chrome.
   1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal.
   2. Log in to your account.
   3. Click on the three-dot menu at the top of the browser.
   4. Select “Desktop site.”
   5. Reload the page and access JAMB CAPS.
   6. Click on Admission Status to check your admission offer.

Using the desktop version of the website can make the complete CAPS interface visible on a mobile device.

WHAT CANDIDATES SHOULD DO AFTER ACCEPTING ADMISSION

Candidates who have successfully received and accepted their admission offer should:

• Accept the admission on JAMB CAPS.
• Print their JAMB admission letter.
• Keep their admission documents safely.
